Coolpie.ai Documentation

Welcome to the official documentation for Coolpie.ai — the competitive price intelligence platform for e-commerce retailers.

Who is this for? This documentation covers both everyday users (merchandisers, pricing managers) and technical users who work with the platform's API and feed integrations.

What is Coolpie.ai?

Coolpie.ai is a competitor price monitoring and matching platform built for online retailers. It automatically pulls your product catalogue and competitor listings, matches products across stores, and helps you make faster, smarter pricing decisions.

The platform is built around three core workflows:

  1. Product Matching — link your SKUs to equivalent products on competitor websites.
  2. Price Monitoring — track competitor prices in real time and compare against your own.
  3. Price Suggestions — define rules that automatically calculate optimal prices based on competitor data.

Key Concepts

Product Match Statuses

Every product in your catalogue carries one of the following statuses:

StatusMeaning
MatchedThe product has been successfully linked to one or more competitor listings.
To ConfirmThe system has found a potential match that requires human review before activation.
To MatchNo match has been found yet; the product is queued for manual or automated matching.
SkippedMatching was skipped for this product in the current cycle.
Never MatchMatching has been permanently disabled for this product.
ExpiredA previously valid match is no longer available on the competitor's site.

Matching Strategies

When adding a competitor, you choose how matches are handled:

Organisations & Websites

Coolpie.ai uses a two-level hierarchy. An Organisation is a top-level account entity (e.g. your company). Each organisation can have one or more Websites — the individual storefronts being monitored and priced. Product feeds and competitor configurations are attached at the website level.

Getting Started

  1. Set up your Organisation and Website
Go to Organizations to create your company entity, then add your storefront under Websites.
  2. Connect a Product Feed
Add your product data source under Product Feeds. Google Shopping Feed format is supported. The platform will regularly fetch and index your catalogue.
  3. Add Competitors
Go to Competitors and add the URLs of the competitor stores you want to monitor. Choose a matching strategy (Automatic or Confirmation) for each.
  4. Match Products
Once competitors are configured, use the Matching Queue to link your products to competitor listings. If you chose the Confirmation strategy, review proposals in the Confirmation Queue.
  5. Monitor Prices
Visit the Products Dashboard to see your price position across all matched competitors in real time.
  6. Create Price Rules (optional)
Set up automated pricing logic in Price Suggestions to receive recommended prices based on competitor data and your own margin rules.
