Matching

Link your products to equivalent listings on competitor sites so price comparisons are accurate and reliable.

Matching flow overview: The system first attempts to match automatically using GTIN, product name similarity, and other signals. Depending on the competitor's configured strategy, successful matches either go live immediately (Automatic) or land in the Confirmation Queue for human review. Products the system cannot match appear in the Matching Queue for manual pairing.

Confirmation Queue

The Confirmation Queue (/match-confirmation) contains matches that have been found automatically by the system but are awaiting your approval before they become active. This queue appears when at least one of your competitors is configured with the Confirmation matching strategy.

Reading the Queue

Each entry in the queue shows a side-by-side comparison of your product and the proposed competitor match:

FieldDescription
CompetitorThe source website where the match was found (e.g. lentiamo.de).
Your productProduct name and your current selling price.
Competitor productThe matched product name, GTIN, brand, and the competitor's current price.
Price differenceThe absolute and percentage difference between your price and the competitor's price. Green = you are cheaper; red = competitor is cheaper.

Taking Action

For each proposed match you have two options:

Filters

Use the Competitors, Brand, and Category dropdowns to narrow down the queue to specific subsets of products.

The Items per page selector (default 100) controls how many entries are loaded at once.

Matching Queue

The Matching Queue (/product-matching) is where you manually pair products that the system could not match automatically. It presents one of your products at a time alongside candidate competitor listings.

Interface Layout

The page is split into three areas:

Current Product Panel (top)

Displays the product you are currently matching, including its name, GTIN, brand, and your price. Use the Skip / Next button to move to the next unmatched product without making a decision, or select All products / Brand / Category filters to focus on a particular segment.

Competitor Suggestions (middle)

For each configured competitor, the system shows its best candidate match (or "No suitable products found" if it has none). For each competitor entry you can:

ActionDescription
Match (or check icon)Confirm that the displayed competitor product is a correct match for your product.
AddOpen a search dialog to find and add an alternative competitor product that wasn't automatically suggested.
fxApply a formula to a competitor product's price instead of matching it directly. Use this when the competitor sells a different pack size than yours β€” for example, if a competitor only sells a 5-pack but you sell a 10-pack, you can match to their product and set a multiplier of Γ—2 so their price is scaled up before being used in comparisons.
SkipSkip this competitor for the current product in this session.
Never matchPermanently flag this product–competitor pair as unmatchable. The pair will not appear in future matching sessions.

Matched / Never Match History (bottom)

Shows a log of recently processed matches for this website, including the timestamp, your product, the competitor product, the competitor site, how the match was made (System or manual user), the current match status, and a Back to matching action to undo a decision.

Keyboard shortcut: Work through the queue efficiently by pressing Enter to confirm the top suggestion, and β†’ (right arrow) to skip to the next product.

Activity Log

The Activity Log (/product-matching/activity-log) is a searchable, filterable history of every matching decision made across all websites in your organisation β€” whether by the system or by a user.
